In 2008, Byron and Sabrina Boston founded Professional Law Enforcement Training (PLET) to provide classroom-based training courses to law enforcement officers across North America. Over the past sixteen years, PLET grew to one of the largest training companies in the United States, scheduling over 500 courses per year.
Based on the high demand for scenario-based training, Byron and Sabrina created Tactical Law Enforcement Training (TLET). TLET began providing Simunition-based courses and defensive tactics courses in 2019 and quickly expanded their course offerings. Most importantly, TLET has hired several high-quality, dynamic instructors to teach these courses across the U.S.
Tactical Law Enforcement Training courses are designed to put officers in the most realistic training situations as possible by inducing high levels of stress. The training scenarios are designed to replicate real-life situations and often involve force on force or role-playing exercises.
Narcotic-related search warrants are one of the most dangerous types of planned operations conducted by law enforcement agencies across the United States. A narcotic entry team must receive proper and continual training to help minimize the risks associated with the operation.
Conducting tactical entry and building searches into locations, pursuant to investigations, case culminations, and other tactical necessities, are critical and require specialized training for all levels of law enforcement officers. Personnel will be instructed in clearing techniques as it relates to their daily duties and investigations.
Officers will participate in indoor and outdoor practical scenarios forcing rescue teams to perform in high stress situations. Officers will learn proper tactics and techniques to conduct vehicle rescues, structural rescues, and open-air rescues often experienced in covert operation.
